Can I pay monthly?
Licenses are annual (365 days) — one flat price, no per-check or per-monitor billing. Renewal simply extends the expiry date, so you keep the same price as you grow.
How many workspaces do I get?
Business = 10 workspaces — one per client. Community and Pro include 1 workspace, which suits a single company or one team.
Is my data secure?
Your monitoring data is stored on your own server. SiroPing has no call-home telemetry. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and every install ships with 2FA, login rate-limiting, an audit log and tenant isolation between workspaces.
Do I get the source code?
Yes — source-available for self-hosted use. With your license you run SiroPing on your own infrastructure. The private signing key used to generate licenses is never shipped.
I already tried the demo. Do I reconfigure everything?
No. Export your workspace from the demo and import it on your own server — monitors, projects, alert channels and credentials come with you, so you do not reconfigure anything. See Migration.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your data is kept 100%. Entitlements return to Community, your first 5 monitors stay
active, and excess monitors are paused (never deleted). A banner points to /pricing/.
Which database should I use?
SQLite works and is fully supported for small installs. MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL are also certified — pick whichever you already run.
Can I resell it to my clients?
Yes — the Business edition is built for agencies: 15 workspaces (one per client), white-label reports and public status pages. You run it on your server; your clients never see SiroPing. See Getting Started and Licensing.
Can I monitor APIs, not just websites?
Yes. The HTTP monitor works for any HTTP endpoint with GET/POST/PUT/DELETE/PATCH, custom request headers (Bearer/API-key, stored encrypted), a request body and expected status/content from the JSON response. See HTTP Monitoring.
I only run one website — is Pro worth it?
Yes. For $190/year you get uptime, SSL expiry, API and behind-login monitoring plus heartbeat checks — all self-hosted with no per-check fees. If your site has an admin area, a member area or an API, the behind-login and API checks are exactly what free tools can't do. Pro also adds defacement detection (alerts when hacked content appears), domain expiry and port monitoring, and slowdown warnings. Freelancers managing client sites should look at Freelancer ($290/year) which adds white-label reports.
Is it hard to self-host?
No. A small Linux server + one install script takes about 10–15 minutes, and Doctor verifies the whole stack. Docs cover installation, updates and backups — see Installation.
